Your role in the journey


As Sous Chef Breakfast, you’ll be the right hand of our Head Chef in leading the breakfast operation. You’ll ensure every dish reflects quality and care, while managing the team and maintaining smooth service.


Your responsibilities include:


  • Supervising and coordinating the breakfast kitchen team for flawless operations.


  • Planning, preparing, and executing high-quality breakfast dishes with consistency and creativity.


  • Monitoring inventory, placing orders, and managing stock rotation to minimize waste.


  • Training, mentoring, and evaluating team members to foster a positive and professional environment.


  • Maintaining exceptional hygiene and food safety standards in line with HACCP and hotel policies.


  • Collaborating with the Executive Chef on menu development and seasonal offerings.


  • Ensuring all kitchen equipment is maintained and issues are reported promptly.


  • Upholding Anantara brand standards and contributing to an outstanding guest experience.


What you’ll bring


  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef or senior role in a professional kitchen, ideally in a luxury hotel setting.


  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.


  • A hands-on approach and a passion for breakfast cuisine.


  • Knowledge of HACCP and food safety regulations.


  • A proactive mindset and attention to detail.


  • Fluency in English; Dutch is a plus.
